The side mounting points on a 20b engine.  Theres one on the bottom edge of the first plate, and two on the second plate.

The bolt size is bigger than M10 and smaller than M12.. I cant find anything that will fit.

Thanks,

James

I have tried M12, unsure about the pitch size, I dont think they are fine pitch, but they seem too large, absolutly no room to even get part of turn.

M11??

Are you referring to the engine mount threads?

I checked mine before I left work.

I will not be able to double check until Mon now.

Yea, the engine mount threads on the side of the 20b the larger ones.  Theres also one in the bottom of a 13b middle plate.

Does the pitch difference between course / fine metric bolts change the overall width of the bolt?

I will definitly try M12x1.5

I will double check on Mon but 99% the engine mount threads are M12

If you have a 12mm bolt it should just start before jamming.

I see from some of your other threads (being nosey) you are looking at putting 20B in FD.

Have you seen my thread, not done anything for ages though.

MRC thread

FDUK thread.

Yea, im putting a 20b in there.. custom subframe, and relocated steering rack, I really like the way your solving the mounting.

Are you running a dry sump on there?  Really interesting to see how it comes together when its finished.

Do you plan on making any more for other cars?  Could be tempted with trying that solution at some point.

Great work!
