Yeah, I don\'t remmember ever even implying that they were MRC staff. They are, however, utter ........s and I was simply asking if they would be doing their utmost to spoil the atmosphere of the event like they do every year.

Not sure how often you go but I think I\'ve been for the last five years at least and although I do agree the owners / management have changed and do not seem as friendly as they were I don\'t think they spoil the day whatsoever.

It\'s the first big meet of year and I\'ve never heard anyone say they didn\'t enjoy it.

I also think your post may well influence other people against coming, which would be a shame.

I love this event and am more than happy, even with the current management, to promote this as a great day out for the club as well as car and aviation enthusiasts.

Jesus. Yeah, I probably should just toe the party line then. You\'re right, the world\'s beautiful and everythings wonderful. Please excuse me for voicing an opinion that may differ from your own and I apologise ureservedly for provoking unjustifiable dissent by actually thinking for myself, it was inexcusable.

As for me influencing others to stay away, judging by the entire thread of people saying "ooooh, I\'d just love to come but I washing my hair/visitng my aunt\'s dog/watching paint dry" it doesn\'t look like my influence is really required in that direction.

As for how often I go, if you made any effort to connect with those in the club you apparently moderate, then you\'d probably have been arsed to say hello at some point over the past few years I\'ve been attending, and then you\'d know. Still, whatever, sorry to have troubled you.
