Just £200, if we can get a minimum of 10 firm takers in the next month who are willing to pay an early booking deposit of £100.

As Donny trackdays typically at c£400, this is an awesome price! And this will be via our friends at Mazda on Track too.

The only downside is the noise level; 98dB I\'m afraid, so please bear that in mind.

So who\'s up for a piece of that? I am....

Just a little refesher to this thread. As posted above, four of the five days I\'ll be organising this year will be;

[INDENT]7th June (Tuesday), Cadwell Park, via Mazdaontrack, ~£169 before discounts
22nd July (Friday), Oulton Park, via Mazdaontrack, ~£229 before discounts
19th Sept (Monday), Snetterton 300, via Easytrack, ~£175 before discounts
2nd Dec (Friday), Brands Hatch, with Mazdaontrack, ~£100 before discounts (if booked early)[/INDENT]
Please bear in mind the MRC is also supporting the following;

Full (paid up) club members will be entitled to a £20 contribution towards the costs of up to FOUR events. Tickets MUST be bought through the club shop to receive this discount, not direct from the Trackday Operators.

I will also be publicising the same events over on the RX8OC, and will let FDUK know what we are planning. As ever, ALL rotary cars are most welcome, member of any club or not.

If anyone member wants to organise any additional events, then please feel free to do so. Have a word with me first please, but then I’d be happy for anyone to use this thread to promote other “member organised” events.

I will, work permitting, be posting up a thread to start the Cadwell Park bookings rolling, so keep an eye out on here for the link......

I\'ll be in for Oulton and would be up for Brands if it wasn\'t at snow plough time lol, Car will be firmly tucked up for winter by then! Fancy Rockingham too if it gets sorted. I can\'t do less than 105dB though, its almost exactly 105 with a baffle and 112 without.

:Thumbs-up Look forward to seeing you at Oulton with that "beast" of yours! Still trying to see if Donnington in Oct is feasible - would you be interested? More importantly, they have a 98dB "drive by", so less onerous, but would that be a problem for your car?

Not sure on drive-by. Brands is 105 static and 92 drive by (depending what day its on it seems) I think and thats ok so it could be ok. Would love to do donnington.
 
What do you mean \'get the season started\' lol, you\'re lagging behind! Was at cadwell a month ago and am at Oulton 20th May

Donnington are very strict. The council runs the measuring stations and. There is a static level too. I\'m not even sure mine would be quiet enough for Donnington on drive by.

I still need to setup my brake balance, just need to do some heavy braking on a quiet road ! I\'m now running 430bhp at the flywheel at 0.9bar and Pip says I can use it all the time Very much looking forward to Oulton on the 25th. Half considering Japfest too, will need to find out if I can get the night before off from bowling though !

Neil, I saw your car at wgt, have you got the new ecu yet ??

That\'s more like what I heard, think Donnington is a no for me Glad your cars back and all sorted.
 
Yeah new ecu and dash is all in, was mapped up to 0.7bar for cadwell and made 420bhp. Its back on the dyno tomorrow to be mapped up to 1.0bar so should have it back this week. Am hoping someone will drop out of oulton next weds so I can pinch a slot :Giggle

Neil, I\'m in discussion with Nick Dougill about the noise limits at Donny. If they are too onerous and people don\'t think they can pass, we will pass on the event. We are all used to the "standard" 105dB limit and have to work to that. If the Donny limit works out less favourable then it\'s likely a no-no. I don\'t want to arrange any events which might prevent anyone who can meet the standard limit from attending, due to tighter restrictions in force.
