Decent motor but I believe 3 apex seals have been thru the turbo as it\'s blown 3 engines in a prev keepers hands.

ive spoke to the guy that owns it says hes bought it to sell on! has pictures of rebuild but was done by the owner not a company with proof!

Well as he\'s a trader you could take him on in court if it blows up :Thumbs-up .........did he mention that?

trotter

looks lovely, couple of points though....

1) From the pics, it doesn\'t appear to me that the UIM has been powdercoated or the alternator polished (although might be an old pic)
2) "Previous dyno printout available" - was this before or after the engine lunched itself? MIGHT be in need of another remap if bits were added on during rebuild. budget ~£300 if thats the case.
3) There\'s no such thing as \'unbreakable apex seals\'!!!! If there was, I reckon Mazda would slap them on as standard and there wouldn\'t be any cases of engine failure!! Well, water seals I suppose....
4) My understanding of detonation was running lean, not just a case of high compression. See point 2) above.

other than that she\'s a beauty!! Also got the \'99 spec rear lights which i don\'t see mentioned in the ad, which is always a bonus!

Just realised i know the seller, Paul is a decent guy and i\'ve dealt with him before. He is a dealer but also loves his Rx7\'s, as with any car have a look and see what you think yourself :driving

Seen this car in the flesh, it a great example and runs lovely and the exhaust note sounds great.

i can vouch for paul as well, ive built a few of his engines but not done this one although have seen the car in the flesh... one of the best standard interiors ive seen.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

Pretty sure it was for sale not long ago for 5.5k on piston heads.
