FD Headlight motor wiring

We are having problems getting Grants headlight motors to operate. There is power to them(if you screw them down maually they return once they get to the limit of their travel). I feel its a switching problem and am thinking the relays to fire the motors aren\'t getting a signal. The healights work fine, the lids have to be raised manually which is a pain. Any advive will be gratefully received, thanks ,Bob.

Never had this problem myself but i believe the switch on the dash is prone to going.
Give that a little check.

The only problem there is that the lids won\'t come up when you turn the headlights on, I\'ve a feeling it\'s to do with the relays but I\'m buggered if I can find them.

The relay is in the drivers foot well on the right hand side
