Dude there\'s plenty of free good advice on here! You need to get a proper explanation of what work is needed and what the problem is...and then decide what work needs doing! At the end of the day it\'s your money! Just don\'t get fobbed off by crap!

ok. but stil wouldnt mind if u or someone could help with this. like ive said on the beginning this is my first rotary. i wouldn know much about it. i\'m still learning what the engine consist of and how it works. and what faults there might be....:driving. its a different world for me. it is a different concept unlike normal engines....

First things first find out from them exactly what is wrong with your engine and why they think it needs a rebuild. Get this in writing by email

i have a list somewhere. i just roughly remembered. so sorry for that. i just moved so im still half boxed. and all my car papers are in one of the boxes. even thou i still might opt for a rebuild... gives me a peace of mind that it should be ok fora good mileage. and i still bearly know all the parts. i just might remember wrongly. ill try to find the box with the papers...:Hammer

so the car is almost done. front bearing on the shaft was gone, the front rotor bearing as well(hope i got the part right). the front rotor was rubbing on the housing left some scruff marks and marks on the rotor. and few leaks on the housings. apex seals almost gone, same as the side seals on rotors. air pump siezed, alternator barely working, ah and back box on exhaust is gone, mid pipe rusted trough as well, and not to mention new brake discs and callipers. and then the other bit is the headlamps. they have only one beam. missing high beam lights is a bit funny when u drive in the night i guess. and not to mention the air filters needed replacing.

so this is mostly what was wrong. not to mention some electrical issues. like some gauges not working propperly. but that is just minor stuff.

:2Confused:eek: so i will have my baby back by the end of the month i hope.

got my rex back on tuesday. have to say excellent job by Peter from RoTechniks. engine works like a clockwork now. starts all the time, with no hiccups. had done a decat and downpipe, bigger intercooler, engine rebuild, new backbox, dumped the air pump, fitted 4point harnesses, changed plug leads, new carbonetic pads and new brake discs all round. now its time for recuperation of monetary power, then on to the body kit and paint. As it stands i kinda like the VeilSide C1 kit, is not the usual what ppl put on their rex. Or as i am torn towards some relly good shocks and springs, and renewing the suspension, and suspension parts. but all in good time. as next year is my wedding.
oh yeah on leaving the garage, the first junction i take, i spun out... :3gears-lh:3gears-lh:eek: so mucho power... i liiiike.:InLove:chat:eek so many possibilities...:driving
