Havnt yet mate, tax and mot are out, got her insured yesterday tho, and mot is booked for 5th jan. I shall no more then.
 
Love looking at it tho, just a shame about that spoiler lol

Hi all,
 
Thought id do a little update of how im getting on with the rx7.
 
Basicly things where put on hold for mot due to xmas and lack of money but i have been slowing getting it ready. I have stripped the rear due to lots of water in the boot because of the gay spoiler leaking. I have got rid of that, and while i look for a new boot lid i have covered the holes the best way i could lol! Hopefully that stops the leaking for now.
 
Mot is booked for friday but i still have a fair bit to do, the fuel tank in the boot needs mounting as shockingly it never has been, and the wiring needs a lot of tidying, its basicly just been dumped in! Also i need to get a gel battery and mount that. The ford one is a temp so i can run it for now. Only thing im concered about is the brakes but ill see how it goes before i spend the money on new ones.

Looks better with a bare arse mate. Not sure I like the single wiper conversion though (reminds me of a ..... Fiat Uno I used to have). Keep us updated on how the MOT goes.

The more i look at it, the sleeker it looks. Just needs a nice set of rims to finish it off, and paint but not so fussed with that at the mo. Yeah i know what u mean, its how i brought it and 2bh its the least of my worries at the minute lol! Ill sort that in time, i just cant wait to get it sorted and drive it. Not even been down the road in it yet! Ill update Friday, hopefully with some good news.

get shot of that battery. .  get a sealed unit if your having it in the cab mate.
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

Yeah i said that mate, i\'ve only borrowed it so i can start it until i get a sealed one on payday. Its not even moved since ive had it, well apart from going backwards and forward lol

Yeah mate, didnt sell tho. Will be back up sunday, or unfortunately broken for bits. I want a reliable drift car (If there is such a thing) and dont want to worry about the rx7 going pop time after time. Way 2 many horror storys after a rebuild that i keep reading.
