Lol. You give me hope, Liam. As long as you still own your FC I\'m not the unluckiest rotary owner in the world :rollin

Unlucky? Nik - yours is bad luck. Liams looks like pure incompetence which theres no place for. Afraid to say it but this matter would have been in small claims a long time ago if it were me! This wait in unacceptable even with bronco bill on board

haha true! though you have a good team behind you to help. Jason doing a rebuild overnight to get it ready for RS is amazing!

who\'s bronco bill? have arranged that if he can not sort it out by the 13th nov then he will pay for it to be taken to a specialist to investigate & rectify the problem. I have a feeling its a pinched water seal or similar but he said he has pressurised it and there are no leaks. Reason i think this is when the car is on idle with rad cap off, the water bubbles away, if there is no exhaust gasses then the water should be pretty calm under 50 degrees as the thermostat is not open and water is not boiling, just warm.

if the engine pops a hose off twice due to pressure / overheating would that damage the water seals / engine? or should i be concerned about any engine part?

If you think you have just cause you may consider a Small Claim the sensible route to take.

I’m pretty sure most of know that L18M’s car is with James McCarthy aka Full Flow Customs – previously J.M Garage

I think it’s about time I went public regarding my 10 month [so far] involvement with the above James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs.

If I went into all the detail the post would be several pages long, so I’ll summarize. If anyone would like all the detail drop me a pm with an email address and I’ll sent it.

Following James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs failing to carry out what they said they would when they said they would do it I issued a Small Claim against them to recoup the money I had spent directly associated to an engine I purchased in Jan this year that it was agreed would be repaired by James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs at no cost to me.

On receipt of my claim James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs issued a counter claim for slightly les than the amount I was claiming.

My claim was for consequential loss.
James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs claim was for parts and labour involved in trying and failing to fix the engine.

I felt their claim was a scare tactic with no real substance and wasn’t surprised to get an email from James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs “adviser“ saying that if I dropped my claim they would drop theirs.

So James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs having failed to get the case moved to their locality drove up from somewhere around Croydon the Birmingham for the Court Hearing.

My claim was upheld as ‘Breach of Contract’ the counter claim by James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs being dismissed.

Then having their application for Appeal refused James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs were ordered, by the Court to pay me the amount of money decided by the Judge on or before 26th Oct.

Did James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs pay – well the 26th came and went. What do you think.

It isn’t over yet.

The above is fact as presented in Court.

Would I go anywhere near James McCarthy – Full Flow Customs again…………………………………………………………..

I started with nothing and I have most of it left

Since been told my engine needs to come back out as CO2 is in the cooling system. Kinda guessed that with my limited knowledge.
Hey ho, another week, another wait.

back on topic, another reason why i seldom post much on here is in the past my posts have been too rude in the \'funny joke section\' and gets removed (my own fault i guess lol) or other posts i do post up, some may take it as being offensive / bad mouthing a third party when i merely was expressing my own feelings towards the subject of my own car which gets me in trouble lol
so personally i need to think carefully be for i post silly things.

:)

i think more and more people are buying everyday cars with the costs of living going higher, the price of petrol does not help and i think apart from those with lots of disposable income, many people will leave the performance cars and buy a daily driver.

That applies not just to the rotaries but all others too
