Quote from: jetpilot;723583I find its increasingly difficult to actually get a nice small phone without all these gadgets imho getting in the way!

Nokia lost it a few years ago imho, from what was the most sleek, easy to use phones etc! I switched to Samsung and never looked back!
I totally agree. We had to get a new mobile for my Dad - he\'s 73. If it\'s too complicated he just won\'t use it. There was nothing in the Nokia range that was suitable - which is a shame as we must have about Nokia 20 chargers!

Well my opinion has changed.

The camera was faulty - could take pics but not view them or download them to the PC

The shop replaced the phone with a new one and I\'m on my third day from the first charge.

Don\'t know if the camera was sapping power or perhaps just a bad battery, anyway getting used to all the toys.

Quotewhat do you take pictures with, my camera

what do you browse the internet on, my computer

what do you store your music on, my ipod

so what do you use your phone for, MAKING PHONE CALLS

That\'s a lot of things to carry when you get out of you car.
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

I dont need to browse the internet, take photos or listen to music all at the same time fortunately.

Perhaps it\'s just me then but I\'m self employed and am away from my office quite a bit and it is a great help to:

1/ Take photographs of my work.
2/ Check my emails
3/ Makes calls
4/ listen to music on the way.
5/ Check out the MRC forum

All from one device - suites me fine
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

Me too :Thumbs-up

But if i had the option of checking and replying to emails etc i wouldnt get any work done! They get answered when i get home when i can focus on the task at hand.

Personally i think iphones etc are the scurge of the planet, i have a friend who pretty much cant have a sh*t without checking his iphone, its painful the amount of time he spends on it, checking emails, browsing the web for things on you tube, facebook messages etc i think its positively anti social! We went jet sking last saturday, he had to have a look at tide times, although he was already told, then went out the next day and he had to check again, even though again he was told they would be roughly an hour later than the day before :rollin

Anyway, pleased your now happy with the Nokia!

I think we both use our various devices for different purposes.

It\'s interesting that you check your emails when you get home.

As I said mines for work and I turn it off at 6pm, if customers haven\'t contacted me

during the working day they can wait till tomorrow.
