Hey Clive how many spares sets of racing brake pads you bringing?
All this talk of break pad wear worries me my fronts looked quite meaty when i looked yesterday the wear marker plus same depth in fresh pad.

Casey

Tom, I\'ve got about the same on my fronts. I\'ll have a spare set of ET500\'s front and rear, but I might need them myself. If not and you need them, they are available, if Clive hasn\'t got a spare set that is! I will be keeping a close eye on wear throughout the day, after my "bare metal" day at Cadwell :o. From Cadwell 2 experience, I reckon if I don\'t stay out more than 15 minutes max per session then they should last the day and have some left to get home. I\'m sure that I let them overheat at Cadwell 1 and this led to an excessive wear rate.

They\'ll certainly need changing before Brands though!

I am still on my first set of ET500\'s now almost a year old...  must be doing something wrong...  or right!  :D

It\'s odd that your using so much pad at Cadwell. I know there are some heavey braking parts of the track, but at Cadwell 1 I used old stock pads that were crap. I cooked them on the day but they still had meat on at the end to drive home on. At Cadwell 2 I used brand new Racing Brake ones off Clive and they held up really well no excess wear and Im still running them now.

I think me and Crissy must need to try harder!

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

I didn\'t take my camera, plus it was too cold to be standing out in the wind and rain.
Hope someone took some pictures though. Hopefully non of me off the track, which seemed to be regularly !!

Had a great evening wth those who stayed over at the Crown.

Despite slipping off track it was still a very good day and great to meet up with what seemed to be a large gathering of FD\'s and RX8\'s.

Intend to visit this track next year in the dry.

It was a really good day. I was by far the slowest and couldn\'t get the grip at all with my current tyres. Seem to get better in the last 1/2hr but was not the ideal weather !

Loved hearing Matts car all day, Sounded fantastic from the pits. Could almost hear it all the way round :Giggle

Put my socks in the microwave when I got home to try and warm my wet feet up :Giggle

Lets do it in sunny weather next time :D
