Quote from: Rotormotor;714231Ash, are you able to fit those 9.5\'s on the front?
Lookin at getin some new rims and was wondering if I could go 9.5\'s all round.
Thanks
Chris

If you went to a weaker offset I\'d imagine so, but they sit pretty close even at 8.5". If I decide to tart up my callipers as planned this week I\'ll swap a rear to the front and see what happens. A lot of it will depend on tyre make/sizing too.

Wee update. Ive just bought some 8.5x18\'s (all 4 are 8.5x18), et35, all running 225x40. Look grand at the front, but sitting in a wee bit too much from the arch, for my liking at the back. Thinking option 1: 15mm thick spacers, or option 2: 255x35 tyres on the rear. Open to suggestions on what way to go here................

changing ya tyre wont make the wheel sit out further! if thats what ya ment?

spacers will be your only option unless you change the wheel for a different offset

lol. Sorry, not quite what I meant. A bigger tyre will stick out alittle more out from the edge of the rim, so thinking it will fill the arch slightly more. Was trying the little program link on the wheels / tyres section, and noticed the 255 tyre fitted, instead of 225 profile, was about 15 mm closer to the wheelarch, on the same rim, if that makes sense.
