Speedo doing its own thing ??

ok guys,
 
anyne got any ideas here please. the speedo on my fd3s has just decided to have a mind of its own, when i start the car its on zero but as soon as i move, it goes up more than it should to 80 ish (when im only doing 20 HONESTLY !!! :Talking1 ) then gradually comes back down slightly but neveer drops below 50. sometimes it goes right round the clock completely random when stationary aswell!!.
 
the bit i dont get is the readout for the milometer is reading exactly the distance it should (surely it would follow the speedo) ??
 
any help/suggestions much appreciated, thanks ppls.
