My single turbo\'d (GT35/40R) RX7 was last rolling roaded at around 450BHP and after a few little jobs i\'m looking to get to close to 500BHP. What spark plugs would you guys use? Stick with 9\'s or maybe upgrade to 10\'s & 11\'s perhaps?
Dave.

im currently running 10 and 11 B""EGV\'s which are dirt cheap and not had any problems. the thing with them is that they are a shorter plug meaning you need a thin walled socket to fit them.

10 or 10.5 heat range. Hks, greddy, or ngk iridiums.

Thanks for all the comments, will have a look at them all to hopefully work out what\'ll be best:Thumbs-up

Had a read up on both these plugs, where\'s the best place to get them guys?

No need to run plugs as cold as 11. 10\'s are about optimal for as much power as you can make. Next, the egv\'s will not last like the iridiums. Not even close. They have a better spark then stock plugs, but I went through egv\'s in a matter of a couple months. (Electrode rounded off to nothing in no time at all)

If you\'re running an ignition amp, which you should be at this level don\'t run any hotter then 10\'s and get some iridiums. They will pay for themselves with the years that they last. They also have the highest spark output of any plug.

Greddy iridiums are exactly the same as Ngk iridiums except 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. (They even say ngk on them!)

My buddy can get both the greddy and hks iridiums through his store wannaspeed.com, last he checked with greddy they would be out of stock until at least sept. Be prepared to spend between $130-200 usd on a set of plugs, seems like a lot but they literally last years, and the car runs so much better.

Yes i have a HKS twin spark fitted, i don\'t mind paying out for a set so i thought it wise to ask the guys on here for recommendations :Thumbs-up
