anyone ever seen this site before, or knows anyone with one ?

http://www.fuelcat.co.uk/

just intrigued :Thumbsup!

BlitzBoy

:flamed Fail Fail Fail

lol only joking

They do nothing in the same category as electric turbos

fair enough, was just inquiring for a mate. He told me a guy in halfords came and told him about it and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about :| website looks pretty genuine.

BlitzBoy

well thats ya answer, would u believe a word from somebody who works in Halfrauds lol

Ask yourself a question, why dont car makers put this on new cars so they can quote higher mpg for their cars thus helping sales and make passing emissions easier.

the only way to get more mpg from an existing car is to make sure it is properly serviced and if it has an ECU you can map is leaning out the fuel mixture on cruise.

Fuel get atomized by the turbulent air in the intake manifold.More efficiant the manifold and injectors the better the fuel will get atomized.

this fuelcat says it re adjusts the molecules in the fuel, this wont make a blind bit of difference to the atomozation and combustion process

haha yeh i thought it was just going to end up as one of those "too good to be true" scenarios. the guy didn\'t work in halfords he was another customer. anyway if he\'s that persistent in getting it, he\'s just gonna have to stick it on his skyline and see what happens :rollin

jackaleks

i can actually see this working...

...by putting a massive obstruction in your fuel system and starving the injectors :2Rolleyes

BlitzBoy

yip the interanl bore of the contraption looks really small HAHAHAHAH

This couldn\'t be more ...... if it tried!

Here\'s some more if you are in the market for them, perhaps you could run them in series?

And this guy can turn water (H2O) into \'HHO\' and run his car on it!  Amazing!  HHO is a supercharged gas! OMGBANANA!!!1!!

you guys are so bloody cynical, i brought one of those magnetic fuel savers that alter the molecular structure of the fuel and give 800% increase in fuel economy and 900% power increase- it is great. if anyone wants to buy it give me a bell, jon.

trotter

you got to love those kind of sites, just conveniently ignoring the laws of thermodynamics...

first up is the PetrolSaver....

"Q.5-What are hydrocarbon chains?
Hydrocarbon molecules that cluster and grow causing molecules to
be trapped from air during the combustion."

erm, wrong. A hydrocarbon chain is a discrete length molecule - it doesn\'t \'grow\' without chemical reactions that are carried out in refineries. It WILL NOT HAPPEN in a car. The point about air being trapped is technically accurate, but thats what injectors are for as they atomise the liquid into a vapour phase anyway....

ooh, ooh, this is a good one as well, shall we just ignore the fact that hydrocarbon molecules ARE NOT MAGNETIC ANYWAY so you can put as many magnets as you want on a fuel line and nothing will happen!!!!

and now onto FuelCat....

"Fuel molecules have a tendency to cluster together." - erm, nope. There is no natural cause for this other than van der Waals bonding, which is extremely weak anyway and doesn\'t particularly affect saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons (petrol for example) as the positive and negative charges are relatively balanced

and the GasforFree dude is just talking gibberish. There is no such thing as \'HHO\', gaseous water is just steam! I assume what he is doing is using electrolysis to split water into H and O - but that is horrifically energy-intensive, and I imagine would require a shedload more power than avaialble from a car battery....

i take it the original owner of your rx7 didn\'t specify the optional partical accelerator...

i was reading the water thing and basically understood it as "energy cannot be created or destroyed OH HAI GUYZ YES IT CAN LOL"
