Hi everybody it\'s nice to be part of your club, i was in the Rx8 club before which was great for technical help , you can\'t beat getting a load of obsessive people in one place , I driving an Fc N/A at the moment and have a Fb sat on the drive in need of lots of work, it\'s not been on the road for the best part of a decade and i am wondering if it is worth doing.

I have got my tickets for Rotorstock 7 so hope to see some of you there

Hi Jim, if you look into the 1st Generation section as well you\'ll get a resounding welcome and lots of Resto information for the FB. Plus there\'s loads of well-obsessive people in there.

Perhaps when you settle in you might let me have the Reg of the FB? I keep a Register of all 1st Gens that we (1st Gen Lads) can find, be they road going cars, SORN cars or even long dead scrap cars. I might have your FB on my list already. If you don\'t want to reveal it that\'s fine, still a very warm welcome. Or you can Private Memo (PM) me.

I\'m quite close to you and can tell you that we\'ve only found SEVEN 1st Gens in West Yorks so far, and only TWO in South Yorks. I can give you a list of rough locations of 1st Gens across the country as well if that\'s interesting. (No details of Registrations or exact locations revealed for owners privacy).

Cheers Dave

Hi Jim,
welcome to the forum. I remember your car from the forum last year, blue with a TWR bodykit isn\'t it?
There\'s some photos of it in the 1st gen section I think.
Glad it\'s shown up on here.
Cheers,
Ian

Yes, got it now, it was in Lincolnshire, stood for a long time?

Thanks for the Reg. I\'ve moved it to West Yorks now.

To know whether it\'s sortable,or not, why not post up some pics of the car in the 1st Generation Section?
I think it\'s got some crusty rusty yeh? so photograph the usual trouble spots like inside the rear arches, where the axle top tie attaches to the Chassis, the front Chassis legs near the Steering Box and the Idler Arm and the floor/sills (again at the back), in front of the rear wheels.
There\'s plenty of keen lads in the 1st Gen forum who will give you an opinion on whether she\'s worth restoring or not.
Plus, if sadly you do decide to part it out, you\'ve plenty of contacts.

PS it hasn\'t got one of those awful glass roofs has it....they let too much light and air in....need to have a steel one.....plenty guys on here will say the same. Nobody wants \'em.....(lying Jim, lying like hell).
