Guys, got an intermittent issue here with my fd. Seems to be a slight sort of hesitation when hitting about 3-3500 rpm. This doesn\'t happen all the time but say it hits approx 3500rpm, the revs drop will to around 3000 then after begin to climb higher. This is visible on the rev counter and i can hear it as well in the engine.
Changed the plugs as they were due to be done but didn\'t seem to make much difference. The weird thing is it only seems to do it in higher gears 3rd, 4th. Its still pulls straight up to redline in 2nd no bother whatsoever , hard acceleration doesn\'t seem to affect it. :3Confused   So seems to be under light load, hope i\'m making sense...

Are you still on twins?
:Laugh LOL

Yeh mate on twins - i was actually thinking it could be the clutch slipping a bit but would the revs not stay higher and not drop if this was happening? The clutch isn\'t that old as well.

So i reckon i\'ve found the source of the problem.

I remember this only only started happening recently after i fitted an amp and sub in the boot... i disconnected the amp from the battery and it seems to have cured it!:D
Obviously a power issue here then, odd one. :xconfused
