Hi,

Just looking at getting a Haynes manual for the CF and found this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mazda-RX-7-Rotary-Engine-1986-91-New-Haynes-Shop-Manual-/260627850887?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Non_Fiction&hash=item3caea16687

Is there much /  anything different between UK and US models?  as all Haynes manuals mention they are intended for US market cars.

Thanks

Mark

You can get the UK version and thats pretty good but as always its not indepth enough and the mazda workshop manual is by far the best thing to go for. There are plenty of links to download every single bit of it, mine once printed is two very large A4 folders worth, something like 1200 pages but worth every penny it cost to download......nowt!!
Some of the US models had a few different bits for the engine, cold start and so on but basically its the same car. Not sure if they changed any of the wiring colours though.

Ok, cheers for the info.  Will look for a workshop manual instead.

Thanks again

Same colour wires - but different functions sometimes - my CAS sensor - wired the US way, didn\'t work - so be wary.

I found the UK wiring diagrams for cab/coupe for 89 models and up - well worth looking out for - particulary for things like lights - as they are a bit different.

Most of the wiring is the same, so ecu to engine and so forth - but a few (CAS for one) are same wire colours but different pin outs.
