just noticed this the other day... unloaded, the driver\'s side sits about a 1/4 inch higher at the front than the passenger; the rear sits at the same height on both sides.

suspension is Tein SS and measuring from the bottom of the thread to the bottom of the perch, both are within 1mm of each other. damping is set the same both sides. would a bit of professional alignment/corner weighting sort this out?

bump :)

anyone else have this problem, or am i just a massive retard?

yehreally

understand this happens quite a bit :yes

I change my suspension over last month and noticed that the passenger side does sit slightly lower. Had it fully realigned at WGT they never said anything about it so guess its ok?

that\'s what i thought, but my weight is nowhere near enough to bring it level.

ah well, the car drives fine, it\'s just irritating!

It\'s just due to variations in the spring and weight distribution of the car.
To set the ride height don\'t do it by measuring on the shock, do it by measuring the wheel arch gap with a \'usual\' payload - i.e. weight of driver in seat, normal load of fuel, etc :)

Talking to a mate about this as my FD sits the same. Now my chum sets up racing cars for a living and he said before setting up ride hight on coil overs you must have your caster angles checked. Do NOT measure from the body work or wheel arch measure from the top of the strut to the centre of the hub  measuring the spring or counting threads etc does not work as no two springs are the same.

I had a problem with this.....one side was over an inch taller...

I had the chassis checked, and it turned out that the front subframe was bent!  Bought a new one and it was perfect again :)

yikes... hopefully that\'s not my problem.

i just went and bought some better coilies with full length adjustment, not just spring perches. hopefully i can even it out with them.
