I am going to start getting things together for my target 500fwhp motor. I intend to get a half bridge port and run pts seals.

my question regards the limitations of my turbo and exhaust gas flow t04R. with a .81/.84 hotside and a 73mm ID inch pipe all the way through.

1) will this be ok to meet the 500fwhp mark or will i have to get a turbo with a larger hotside and or a 4" exhaust?

i would like to keep my current tub as it spools well on stock ports but woudl be prepared to spend 500 quid on something more suitable.

2) can anyone point me in the direction of a free/ timing map for a half bridge. (i thought id ask here first, im sure i could get one on the PFC forum

your turbo is good enough for over 500fwhp on a large street port, Brian Ellis on here made that power years ago on a very large street port on that turbo.
I made approx 420rwhp with that turbo as well.
But your turbo rear housing would be too small for a Half bridge porting.

Timing on a half bridge is easy, the map I sent you last year take 3-5 degrees out (retard) on the cells in the boost load area just before peak torque rpm through to max rpm.

But for your goals go with large street port, at 1.2 BAR you will get approx 420rwhp over 500flwhp

Hey blitz, i have a 1.30 hotside and was wondering if i should use a standard turbine wheel instead of a cut back one to help spool the larger housing?
