Power fc coming !!!!!

I have now bought my power fc and am awaiting delivery, i cant wait to get it and fit and have my car running again, it will be fitted and mapped still as a stock car but kerim asures me it will still make a difference, so will be interesting to see what sort of difference it will make to stock car.

Ecu turned up today need to to drop it off at garage this weekend and get it fitted, kerim is also testing the engine with a pressurised smoke machine thingy for air leaks so will be interesting what he finds......

depending who maps it and whos rollers you use, id be expecting 300bhp, are you on a stock exhaust?
 
I did 283bhp on a rich basemap at 10psi with the cat on so running a bit more boost i think 300bhp should be easily attanable with the cat still on

Yeah its completely stock car, standard exhaust, standard air box the lot,i didnt think i would get that much :-)

you will be suprised, your only asking for another 46.6bhp from a completely new ecu and an increase in boost, thats not much.
 
the cat holds you back massively though, just removing the cat, but leaving it on the same map and boost i gained 40bhp+45ftlb

I wish i had enough money for an exhaust and decat, but will have to wait for it :-(

Right the air leak turned out to be right at the bottom of engine near turbos, so all the turbos are off to replace nackered paper gasket on exhaust manifold i think. Well its going to be expensive so plenty of over time...................

Had a few money issues mainly down to moving house twice in 6 months,but finally was down at powergains with kerim and heard the old girl start up, so exciting. Going to be mapped by Jay at some point this week i think,also had the decat fitted so look forward to see what results we get, big thanks to kerim and jay for being pateint with me and missus......... saving for a single next :-)
