the bonnet on my car has started looking patchy, looks like a milky colour on top of the gel coat, it is c/f seibon bonnet, is this due to the polish/wax i have used on it?

when i use some g10 on it then polish it up again it looksgood again but after a few days it returns!

is my problem the wax, and is it due to sunlight fading it?

very seldom the clear resin used in CF is UV stable.... basicaly what is hapening is the bonnet clear gell coat is getting attaked by the suns UV, not alot you can do about it other than keep polishing it ti keep it at bey, but it\'s the same as having plastic windows & red paint after time they both get affected! Try some light oil on it, i used to have to do this with one of my Honda NSX cars and it used to do the trick. Obviously this needs to re-done when you wash the car but at least it\'ll keep it looking good.
