na... that cost a little more than £650 LOL
That\'s about where we are at the moment including buying the truck!

The Turbo on that is in just the right position to suck up a wallaby!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

What fluid tank is being cooked right next to the hot side of the turbo?

Jono FD3

haha, that would be the power steering, but to be honest it looks alot closer in the pics than it actualy is ;) there\'s about 250mm between the turbo & the tank... but it\'s by the cold side.

m1tch

Ah ok hehe :P what sort of power is it putting out? Are you thinking of swapping out the engine with something else at some point?

Grant Monkhouse

For 650 that he has spent there\'s no point putting anything else in there until something goes bang, but if it does I\'d get a big cast iron block v8 to help with the pendulum effect when flicking from angle to angle. Lol

When I was at a RWYB there was a hilux running a massive out the bonnet V8 with a supercharger and a mad max style air scoop hehe I would say it would be cool for that truck to be a sleeper, but I think the bright orange external roll cage is a bit of a give away :D

Or you could have gone the merc transporter route:

haha, power wise it\'s probably about 130 at the mo, but when the boost creeps up she should be knocking on the door of 170 all going well!! more than enough in that thing! Unfortunatly she isn\'t road legal or it would surprise alot of people now..... and I think putting a V8 in it would be epic, but might just bend the rusty chassie in half! LOL

Ha yeah dry true, instead of spinning the tyres it would spin the chassis around the engine!! :rollin:rollin:rollin

Well, the drift engine is finaly in one peice again, complete with a fair bit of porting, new race clutch, fresh cam and a few other trinkets, along with a fresh coat of paint!

Just got to get it in the truck tomorrow and fire her up!!

antnicuk

looks very smart,  what happened to the old one?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Jono FD3

same engine matey, just we had a slight issue after the engine froze over the winter and it resulted in a shredded head gasket, so pulled the lump out to change the clutch to something that can handle the power too.... so we now have a custom 6 puck race clutch in there :)
