fc3 electrical problem help needed asap

bought an fc3 t2 jdm version.
when i bought it had the 100amp main fuse blown on the car.
 
i replaced the fuse and the car has got power in some areas an no power in others.
main places i found power were to the horn, headlights, interior light.
but there is no power to a lot of other systems on the dash, and more importantly no power to the ignition barrel, so when you turn the key nothing happens.
 
what could this be, im hoping its power to the ignition barrel.
but what would cause the 100amp fuse to blow in the first place.
 
i would have thought starting or charging system?
 
really want to get this car running as its very good condition, low mileage and will be my project car.

a fair few fc\'s has a wire where the 100 amp fuse should be.

had it got an immobilizer preventing it from starting?
dud starter motor?

no immobiliser, that i know of, past owner also said it did not have an immobiliser and he had been using it and starting fine for a couple of months before the fault.
starter could be faulty i guess, change it and see lol

first check the fuses in the engine bay ( sound like you have done ) - then check all the ones by the drivers right knee - there must be 40 of them in there aswell

check them out and then see what works and what doesnt

It takes some power to blow a 100amp fuse. Your prob right in thinking its charger/Ignition. You should check the coils for resistance. Each coil should have a resistance of 0.2 to 1 ohm.  Check the fuses down at the drivers sit as grinder says as well.
