Looks like a blessing in disguise to me: now Oulton and Brands are just over 2 weeks apart and might be easier for people to get the time off to attend both.

Well, there\'s a huge gap in this series between now and Oulton Park, so people have been asking if I can fit in another trackday before then.

URGENT - BRANDS HATCH - 3RD DECEMBER

There is a heavy "early booking" discount on this event, just £91 before the MRC contribution - which is REALLY CHEAP for a full OPL trackday. This event has always been VERY popular, and with the heavy discount, places are going fast.

If you are certain you want to go to this, then I advise you to book up soon to avoid disappointment (I have!).

We have no guaranteed allocation of spaces, so when they are gone, they are gone.

i already have that day off work so can definately attend. but i need to get my car sound checked before i go. i have a FD3S with a full stainless exhaust from the turbo back (with no cats or silencers!). does anyone know where i can get this done locally to me?

i already have that day off work so can definately attend. but i need to get my car sound checked before i go. i have a FD3S with a full stainless exhaust from the turbo back (with no cats or silencers!). does anyone know where i can get this done locally to me?

If there is nobody local to you then could buy one of these and get a friend to rev the engine to about 5.5k with the meter 1m away from the exhaust at an angle of about 45deg !

Can\'t help with that one, but Shaun\'s link to cheap noise meters looks a good solution at less than £20!

There are now 54 places booked for this trackday, up from 40 odd when I looked last week. Places are going REALLY FAST. This is a stonking bargain at £91 (less £20 if you are a FULL MRC member) for full day Open Pit Lane at Brands.

If you are wanting to go, book now, or you may not get a place. Don\'t moan at me later if you find the day is fully booked, you\'ve been warned!!

THIRTEEN rotary powered cars are already paid up for this event, so it\'ll be a good one!
