Theres also a moonroof for 79/80 rx7\'s even rarer[different fittings won\'t fit s3 cars] on US ebay[rotary restorations/shop seller] @ $250 approx or close to that.

I bought one off Ebay US from Colorado in November. Looked real nice and I\'ve bought a few nice parts off the guy before.
The roof panel was $100 and he quoted me $80 to send it over inc insurance.
Then he took it to the post office and was quoted $430 to ship it to me so I had to bale out.
If this other seller can send it properly packaged and insured for $105, that\'s a very good deal.
 
I did have a glass roof panel about 8 years back but let it go with the car. They weren\'t so hard to get hold of back then!

They do look G8 on the cars,interiors a bit \'dingy\' with the steel sunroof on.
I saw ur red car above on the old rx7 site & noticed the moonroof then.
I take it these roofs were an expensive optional extra from mazda at the time.

Elford Turbo Ltd in Bournemouth did them for £200...
 

 
Mine came with the red car, which also had the original steel roof panel as well but I usually used the glass, it made the inside seem much nicer.
