I\'m not sure if this is the right section to ask this - if not then sorry, I can delete it and put it in the right section if a mod will let me know....

I may be re-building my engine and changing the spec - if so then I may ditch the BNR stage three turbos in favour of a single.

The BNR\'s have done around a thousand miles, still under warrenty (only 4 months old) and cost £1700 from the US.  Any idea what they are worth if I sell them?:)

I think my mate over in Norway has a set of BNR twins on his FD, its currently running at about 500bhp lol :D

LOL - I did not think that you could get that out of them, that\'s got to be running them non-sequential?

I actually meant how much would they be worth if I was to sell them?

Well - If I can get more than a grand for them I may well entertain the idea of going to a single with a full bridge.:yes

I doubt that I will be doing anything with the car for the moment - so give me a shout and make me an offer when you are ready!

Not wanting to ruin your day, but in another of your threads you mention loosing some apex seals.

You will need to take a look at turbos to check for damage from bits of apex seal.

suba

Yep - will do so when I work out what to do with the car, I\'m hoping that the turbos will be ok.

Damage should be fairly easy to notice. Fan blades designed to withstand centrifugal forces at 100000rpm tend not to like impact from bits of metal fired through them!!! :P

rixio was trying to get £2350 for his set with ported manifold etc

suba

Well - they cost less than that new, so i think that that is a little ambitious.  If I could get that for them then they\'ll be sold in an instant!:Thumbs-up

if you do have an issue with chipped blades then let me know- i have a brand spanking new BNR turbine at home. I bought a set second hand, found out that one of the turbines was gone so ordered a new one, then noticed the manifold was overly cracked so got a second hand set of stocks and got them machined out to fit the bnrs and ceramic coated, then decided to port said manifold. unfortunatly i did it under the influence of a bottle of wine and so took a bit too much out- only really good for non-seq. At that point i decided enough was enough and went single!!!! All the bits are now gathering dust in my garage.
as for Rixios, I believe they were a custome set made by Brian (BNR) with larger turbos fitted, with quite a bit of porting work as well. They also have never been used, so whilst it is a lot of money, I can sort of see why he is asking a lot for them. I guess they are only worth what someone is willing to spend??

Legend - I certainly will get in touch if that is the case.  Thanks for the heads up mate.:Thumbs-up
