An obsession was just the start.

£10,000 including buying the car, est power over 700bhp at 2bar of boost, similar one made 671bhp at 1.5bar so 2bar should give some nice numbers

im expecting a powerband similar to this as hes running a streetport

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crWcHd2D_9o&feature=related, 1bar at 4100rpm which is good going for such a large turbo

What plenum are they running?

Interestng that the dude from RB said about the Aero - I think this is something you really are overlooking dude.

there you go ross, its running on a simple no name 80mm throttle body aswell

not really, they used to rear wing to stop the wheelspin at 220mph, unless im suddenly gonna have so much power i can light the rear wheels up on tarmac at 200mph then ill be fine.

also there fc did 238mph on stock aero so its not something to worry about at all

SiH

OK dude, but with that and what seems to be no major safety considerations, I\'m genuinely concerned for your safety at those speeds. Not trying to be preachy, but I\'d really rate these as very important things that are being overlooked.

I\'ll shut up now.
/stuck record.

turbotoaster

ah dont worry mate, im happy to talk about anything about that, im not completely devoid of risks, im not gonna be doing these speeds on my rear tyres that are currently on it.

Yes they are decent eagle f1s but i dont know there age, so i will by a pair of new 888s for it, they have been run at 210mph a few times so seem to be up to the job, plus ill actually have a little bit of traction coming out of the bottom corner

there has been a bit of a change on the injector front

Another update is ive changed my injector setup to try and give me a more reliable setup, make mapping easier and save some money

There was a few issues with my original idea which i did not foresee.

One was that the additional 1600cc injectors are low impediance which means i would have to install resistors before the injectors, i knew of this and didnt think that was a big deal.

I assumed that would make them act like high imp ones, and my apexi ecu would control them as such(thats normally true) i was gonna trick my ecu into thinking that each injector was infact 2450cc(1600cc+my original 850cc) so that they fire together, the issue is the ecu will end up messing up the transition from small primary 550cc to the 2 big ones and flood the engine.

I have now solved this problem by coming across \'injector dynamics\' 2000cc injectors, they are special injectors that even when the fuel pressure is increased they provide a consistant spray pattern.

by running these at 50psi base pressure they will provide 2500cc each which as i need 6000cc and i have 1000cc in primarys in the car this will be perfect.

the other benefit is i now dont need to by injector holders to weld into my upper inlet manifold which saves me money, the injectors are more expensive than the 1600cc, but i think its work it for simplicity.

they can get a leaner idle running 4x2000cc on a stock honda non-vtec integra than the 240cc stock ones, thats how good they are :)

francovel3

are you planning on your pilots licence any time soon............
POWER GAINS

Plus those are damn sexy looking injectors, that\'s worth an extra 10bhp :)
interested to see how well they work, might jump straight to them myself instead of 1600s if they are so controllable for low flow as well...

Do you need a custom rail for them, or will they fit e.g. The KG parts rail that lots of people use on the FD?

you can choose the type of fitment, to make life easier im gonna have them with the same fitment as 1600 bosch ones so ill either use a kg parts rail or fd3uk, i think im gonna use his because its nice to support UK guys plus ive heard leaking issues on the kg one.

Ive pm\'d him on fduk so ill see what he says

from what ive seen they blow 1600s out of the water, you can even increase fuel pressure all the way up and they flow 3300cc and they are proven to run at that!

the video above shows how good they are

turbotoaster

at 130psi they do 3700cc sorry

BlitzBoy

Yip those are very good injectors, if I ever need more fuel I will change my setup to use these ID injectors
