As above please guys, cant really afford to send it to a garage to do as i\'ve just moved into my own place.

The clutch is sticking to the floor and there is a blowing noise coming from under the UIM and its not the manifold or the exhaust, leading me to think its from the turbos

the twins are great fun, i\'ve spent ages on mine and they\'re still not off :)

undo the clutch cylinder from inside the cabin and tug it loose, you can then get the y-pipe off easily. loosen the steering column (two bolts at the bulkhead, two bolts above the indicator stalk wire and then disconnect the intermediate shaft from the rack) and you\'ll have access to all of the nuts :)

soak everything in bolt penetrant and work out how to bend your hands into the right position to get the nuts off!

Do you mean the air leak is under the LIM at the side of the engine or actually under the UIM where the ratsnest is?

LIM could be gasket if it\'s and old standard one.. could be a vac line on an actuator or the seal in the y-pipe.. do you still get full boost okay? Any signs of oil leaks off either turbo or back through the filter if you are running a stock setup?
Clutch cylinder is easy enough if you get under the car.. I did my clutch in situe a while back and did a post.. Might be some pointers there. I\'ll dig it out and post the link later.. also I am doing a single turbo ocnversin which has some info about removing the stock twins.. that is a current thread. Again i\'ll post the link later.

I had the same problem as Lee discribed last year, LIM paper gasket let go. Took me a while to find the source, I found it by running the motor and using a flexable tube to my ear. Might be worth a try?

Here is the link for the single turbo conversion I am doing. How much help it wil be I don\'t know. There is more of a verbal description on most of the removal with some key hints and tips I found along the way..

I am sure there must be other threads on here.. My clutch change post as no real info on removal of the clutch cylinder I am afraid.

But reading jackaleks post there I can see I was thinking of the gearbox end anyway.. You are thinking it\'s a problem pedal end? Anyway his tip to remove the clutch master cylinder thus making Y-pipe removal easy is a damn good one! I didnt have that tip to do mine and it was a cow to get the y-pipe out as that is right in the way! Good tip!

Anyway.. Good luck sorting it out fella.
