ye may no the car, these are the ones i got for my car now, i have much wider rims on the frount of my fc, and my car is a good bit lower, as ya can see they have a angle in them to fit the line of the fc, they are for a fc only, very rare,

Quote from: m1tch;663352OOO :) yeah I might be dropping just 40mm, depends how the rims sit in the arches really, I think this weekend I will \'adjust\' my exhaust heat shield with a dremel and see if the rears clear the arches ok.

Which seller/how much were those? are they for an FC?
i got them from a lad that had them on a skyline, i paid 55 pounds for them, two only, they look great on my fc,very well made i must say, compaired to some of the .... i bought, they are about 45 to 50 mm wide,
do ya want to buy them

I\'ve got some rivet on flaired arches and some bolt on front fenders and some rear overfenders. The arches would fit but will need some slight bending like most uni ones on The fc. Fronts are narrower than the backs too.  Tbh I can\'t belive you can\'t fit your wheels, just look at beezy\'s old car.

Also over fenders and wide front arches look epic on stock bodied fc\'s with a lip :)

Might be an idea to get in contact with replikit and see if they can make copies of it, I don\'t have that much cash at the moment - just bought a T88 lol but I am interested, but wouldn\'t they look odd just on the rears and not the front?

Skifledanabit

That\'s what I was thinking, unless you can find two more, keep those ones stored until needed... which would be cheaper than buying a complete set of 4.

I have no idea why they are so rare... what people have already said, just the amount of interest on here seems like a worthwhile investment... somebody emailed replikit with the link to this thread yet?

I have PMed replikit, seems that there is a gap in the market, its not like people don\'t want them, its just that you can\'t physically find them which is why you don\'t see them on cars!

Flatout - is there a name or makers mark on those?

Sign up (it\'s an awesome forum, possibly my favourite of all the one\'s I\'m a member of) and pm asking them for the dimensions.

The only problem you\'ll have is the kink in the panel, as shown by the pic of the purple car. This depends on how you mount it, and how you mount it.

I suspect you\'ll have you use a little bit of heat to help bend it slightly, then rivet it in place.

you might stuggle to get decent wheel fitment with these. As i remember that purple car was stupidly low, the exhuast was a couple of inches or so from the ground. If you look at the fenders it looks like it could go sooo muxh lower too

Dude, those were FC specific arches, so they have to be mounted on that kink.

I reckon that the universal ones could be mounted below that (I\'s sure there\'s enough space) in which case the arch gap would look much smaller because they\'re lower on the body.

dthebuk

oh i didnt mean the fenders could go lower, i mean the ride height of the car as the wheel fitment doesn\'t look very special.

and just to show uni arches can be done

the guy had a thread on rx7club.com showing how it was done, cant find it though
