Are these hard to pick up with manifold?
Do they improve performance by much?
Is yours new or 2nd hand?

the manifold came up yeasrs ago on ebay and i missed out on it but the guy i got the motor off bought it and never used it so its new old stock i guess
not sure on how much performance if any at all they give maybe someone can let me know ?
carb is second hand came from mark on here

CHC (RIP)

Quite a story on the manifold - what are the chances of that happening again, zilch I would have thought. Still excellent news for you and fortunate enough to pick up the carb too. Having searched ebay they aren\'t that common so would be interested to hear how it performs mate.

On another issue, weren\'t you on the lookout for some black inrterior pieces last year? Did you even find them?

yeah think so as he kept wanting the reg number and my car was 1st registered in 1988 so it comes up as an fc when they search for parts for it even though  i tell them its a fb they still think they right oh well never mind all sorted now

David Nock (RIP)

Most Suppliers don\'t seem to be able to trace on computer before FC\'s. Probably because no computers as such in those days.

I don\'t think it\'s your reg that\'s wrong Michael, it is a correct 1984 plate. The DVLA hold certain sets of plates in reserve for Re-Reg cars coming back onto standard Reg when owners sell but keep their Private Plates. They also issue them for imports. Didn\'t we once figure your car was once a diplomatic import into Central London?

still net sure but the v5 says 1988 registered (decl/d manuf 1984)

only on a dvla enquiry does it come up as 1984 everywhere else is 1988
