a bit of paint in the engine bay


i dont think that this colour is tornado silver do you???

It had mot with this corrossion?
Suppose it was hidden by windscreen pillar trim.
None the less,most peeps would of run a mile with the amount of work you\'ve done to bring your Fb back.

Good to see the project moving forward mate - perhaps the colour is gale-force silver then?  (afterall, that is what it has been doing up north for the last two days).

The upper body work looks as if it might have been quite extensive, did you have to remove the front screen in the process?

Yes mate i did have 2 remove the front screen as the rust had cracked it :(

no i didnt but i did take it out to paint the dash while the screen was out

Out of curiosity, what is the rating of difficulty from  to 10 to remove the screen?
Is it simply a case of removing the outer trims for access to the screen?

No I\'m not planning to do this type of job, I was just interested to hear how it was done.  There are some jobs which should remain with others :Hammer and I\'d say this is definitely one of them - Michael I don\'t blame you at all for cheating mate, I would have done the same.
