Single Box exhaust - Opinions?

Inspired by Spoons N1 system Im keen to see what people think of a single box exhaust setup? Both perform/back pressure wise and looks.

How does the ReGenesis react to exhaust tuning? Is the factory system pretty restrictive? And are many people running Decats?

I was thinking cat or decated straight pipework to a single box on one side with a single 2.5" or 3" outwardly rolled tailpipe, when I ran a Saxo VTS with the same setup it was super raspy and pop\'d like a goodern but not in a Corsa with a Jap can from Halfrauds way
