Mine was a 13.85 @105 mph at the TSC at Woodbridge.

Also have been dyno\'d at 235 hp at the wheels.

Yesterday a new 1/4 mile time was set!!

Clive Haynsford went to LLoofaru Park Raceway in north Wales(This is a very good privately owned Drag strip) and set some amazing times!
On his first run he manged to do a 12.7 @ 118mph.
But then things started to really hot up!!
he did a 10.96 @137mph and backed this up with a 10.77 @142mph!!
The best was yet to come though,he then turned on the Nos and managed a 9.98 @ 156mph!!!!!!!:D  But the engine popped going over the line:reallymad .
Still that was a really fantastic time and WELL DONE CLIVE!!!!:wave

I will let Clive tell you how it felt.(Suffice it to say it was scary!)

We are hoping the carbon fibre apex seals are still intact and can retrieve them for the rebuild.
We were using a 12a for this attempt. Why you may ask.
It is because we are able to rev it to 14300 rpm.
We used the same type of tyres that are used in Top Fuel for the amazing traction they provide. They are completely slick.
We also had 2 gt 85 /105 turbo\'s which on the dyno produced 775hp at 13000 rpm.Without the Nos turned on!

We would like to thank the Mr Foulu and Cogyo gearbox makers in Japan for loaning us a new experimental 7 speed gearbox for the attempt,we now have to ship it back to Sukor in Japan.

The attempt was witnessed by Myself,Danny,Steve and Nigel of D.S. Engineering and Mr Haru Takenin (Engine specailist from Mazda Japan).
Danny, did those pics come out?Did you get the wheelstand?
Overall we are really pleased with the results.
We need sponsorship though, please everyone,we have run out of money for the continuance of this project.

As Rotorstock is fast looming we are asking that the membership help us with a donation of at least £10.00 from each member to get us ready in time for that event. Please help!

We need this car to show other Japanese cars what we can do.

Anyway I will let the others air their thoughts on the days activities.

Well done Clive!!(You Should see Clives smile)
We hope you are as pleased as we are!

Kind regards
Carl:D
