Hi,im after all the bits needed to remove the air pump- block off plates twin and a twin alt pulley.
Any ideas if these bits are readily availiable? thanks

I\'ve got a couple of the smaller diamond shape blanking plates for the the air pump blank. Mine already had them fitted so didn\'t need them when I got shot of the air pump. Your welcome to them. I even have a template for the main blanking plate somewhere. If I can dig it out I might even be able to make you a plate (or at least send you a copy of the template).
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Saying that. WGT or someone will probably have them cheep enough.

So how many plates do I need in total to block the necesary ports off?

Brett

IIRC Pineapple racing sell the complete kit as well? If you look in the technical stickies in the 2nd gen sub forums you should find a write up :)

If I recall, when I got my block off plates kit - there were 4 or 5 pieces in it.

The main ones you need are:

Air Control Valve blanking plate
Split Air blanking plate

You also get BAC valve blanking plate - I\'d keep that on if it was me, and OMP blanking plate - if you eliminate that OMP you need to run premix.  You also either need to keep the OMP assembly as the ECU needs to see it connected, or you need to run an aftermarket standalone ECU.

I think the 5th plate was the Air Supply Valve - which is on the back of the throttle body

The best process seems to involve crossing your fingers and hoping for the best! :Giggle
