hi, i\'ve had my latest rex for 10 months now and i want to now sort out some ride issues, basically the car fells stiff as in if i go over a bump my teeth fall out! but when cornering it feels like a big boat exspecially the rear!
also i get alot of clonking at the back and i was told by wgt that a that a bush needs replacing! i was thinking that really loose handling could be down to the 15 year old bushes all around the car, it has tein coilovers so it cant be the suspension. i know it would be some job to rebush the whole car but would it be worth it? what bushes does anyone recomend and how much is a full kit?
and help would be great.

Hiya Tom,

We are Powerflex dealers, and their bushes are fantastic.  We have used their motorsport bushes for our race car with great effect.

We can fit all of the bushes for you...and will clean up all of your wishbones at the same time :)

Drop me a mail or give me a ring for further details

Sorry for the thread hijack, but what is the difference between normal Powerflex and the motorsport ones?

AtomicRex

the motorsport ones are slightly stiffer

Hello Tom,

If you have clonking at the rear then this will be the sperical pillow ball bushes that are in the wish bones and the toe control arms which would need to be replaced with Mazda items, as for the wallowing this could be either the toe control arms worn putting the tracking out at the back or that you have a dead suspension damper,

Hope this helps.
All the best Clive
