There was a HUGE headwind down the strip on saturday, plus my boost wouldn\'t go past stock boost on the strip, still thrashed a skyline though lol best time was about 14.5, was running with a stock shifter, so I might have got my old time if I had my short shifter and the boost was behaving lol

still can\'t believe the same water pipe went on this one 3 minutes from the track on the way home! same line went on my egi! Mr RAC man just gave me the tools and let me fix it myself!!

Brett

I had the same failure on my first ego, was a total mare to spot in the dark as well!

It just seems ironic that all the fc\'s ive had the same pipe has gone lol.
Those coilovers that came with the car are ace,way better than the hks ones ive got on the egi:)

I\'ve been amazed at a Mazda and it stuck! ;)

How are those pipes held onto the heatermatrix? Im wondering if its the join thats leaking on mine rather than the matrix itself.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Yeah I\'ve put them on,just the damping adjust seems allot more positive compared to the hks ones I have.
On both heater matrix hoses have failed in the same place, which is the bend just before it era the block.
It was lucky that the car had a water temp gauge in it as it was dancing around from 80-100 degrees and that was before the low coolant alarm went off.
I wish mazda could have put a more pleasent low coolant alarm in as i\'ve heard enough of it going off recently and its scares the crap out of me every time I hear it!
