dashboard lights

hi.

Here\'s a little question...

...start the car up..it idles..no problems, however the oil light,coolant light and battery light are slightly illuminated..rev the car and the light dims...past 2500rpm and they go off....

..did the usual check of coolant and oil and everything is as it should be...no problems with the running of the car, and the light\'s come back on when the rev\'s drop below 2500rpm....

..any ideas???

Alternator?

Check the alternator out
Mine was doing this - I ignored it till it gave up completely and I broke down in the middle of the fens.
A soldered connection in the back of the alternator broke.
got it fixed at an eletrical motor factor for £30

I kinda thought it was the alternator..had a brief look but can\'t see anything obvious..

..car is due to the garage on Tuesday, so i\'ll get them to sort it.
