can someone just explain the diffference between bridgeport and ported?
i\'m sort of a newb, so all the help is much aprechiated!!!

Streetport is for the street, so bridgeport must be for driving over bridges (my favourite is the dartford crossing).

Streetport is an increase in the intake and exhaust ports on the plate/housings, this removed some material for a much better flow.

Bridgeporting is where A LOT of material is removed, moves the powerband much higher and allows a lot more air into the engine. It is called a bridgeport as there is a \'bridge\' that is left and not removed to support the corner seals are they come round

oh jon, you really need to learn etiquette! it is not to LEAVE the table until it has gone round. and it is terribly bad form to not fill the glass up to the meniscus!
Port is also where sailors go so they can get arrested for drunk and disorderly...
