Ok i need some help, i was on here last week and i came across a thread with a link that took you to a japanese website where you input your VIN and it told you what your car was (like Type r, type r 2 and the others) i kept the page open and was guna use it when my log bookn arrived from my old dears house but my computer kindly decided to switch itself off and on again so i lost it.

i have been searching for hours and cannot find it is there any chance that anyone has seen this thread with the link?

All help is appreciated

Cheers

my car says \'special edition\' on the sticker on the door, but that\'s all it says........ would love to find out what exactly it is

Sorry, Dave, I fell for that one too, and I don\'t think you and I are the only ones. The "Special Edition" is the heading, and if it actually was some sort of special edition, it would say which one it was underneath that (in much the same way as it says "DIsplacement" and then "13B" underneath or "EXT Colour" and the Paint code such as "NU" underneath). Sorry to shoot down your hopes there, dude

they did do a type s rob - iirc it was the proper basic no frills model. i think it was single oil cooler like the type x but without the cruise control/sunroof/leather front seats etc. i read somewhere on here that it was the cheapest rx7 sold
