Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone can shed light on this prob.
Lately my SAGA Oil pressure dial is behaving erratically, it normally sits around 20 but lately plummets down to 0 the alarm goes off then a couple of seconds later it corrects itself and goes back to 20 it does this 3-4 times each 6 mile journey i have plenty of oil in her and water. Am a bit stumped could it be an oil pressure sensor fault or are my dials on the blink?
Cheers:Thumbs-up

With most gagues always check the sensors first if they start to go funny

Wolverine69

What is the best way of testing the sensor?

i had exactly the same problem on my greddy gauges just before the alternator went, the voltage was dropping too low and they were loosing power and not reading as they should... stick a voltage meter on your battery and alternator and see what u get

Wolverine69

thanks for the reply but what sort of reading should i be looking at if the alternator is about to go?
