I know. So are the nelson racing ones

If you can get the power to the street then this thing will fly!

On the subject of Nelson Racing engines, I\'ve seen a lot of their vids on youtube and whilst they look impressive and can certainly smoke rubber.  I think I\'ve only seen one run on a 1/4 mile, that was a 1500bhp Chevy Twin Turbo that ran 10.02 on low boost but when they added race fuel and turned the boost up a bit they only put 2 gallons in and it surged the fuel in the tank away from the pickup and the motor died halfway down the track.
RX8 High Power, Cusco Coilovers, Dotz wheels and flames. Shoe Size 12

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

what i mean is to check these out to see where in the range of power craig could be with his engine. wether it be on 4 psi or 14 psi,

im prety sure your taliking about \'F BOMB\' which is a trans am, the engine didnt die, but the fuel pump did IIRC.

NRE were the ones that did this too, if you havent seen this before you must watch it, yes i know its not a rotary...blah blah blah, but this is a v8 thread so im going to post the  link to it,

The choice between single and twin turbo was easy in the end , turbo technicks spect the turbos for the 7,0l motor they Are GT35Rs with the bigger 1.06 housing they thought they might be a bit laggy but would flow well at higher revs and a single would be massive , it was easier to fit  two than one and as I happens they spool so early. ( and twin turn sounds cooler than turbo !!) . I\'ve seen motors in aus and the states make 1500 BHP +  with lesser engines than mine but running 20 psi , I\'m not sure what pressure I am going to run as the final number would only be for pub talk really. As long as it does 1000+ I\'m happy

Update time , had it on TVR powers dynojet dyno today ,we were there to sort the mapping out and do some runs, I have fitted 4psi waste gate springs in the tials sorted the bottom end ok so started doing runs . It was doing 600+ at 4psi and as we upped the boost it is doing 750+ at 8psi and at 13 psi it\'s doing 804 bhp and 823 ftlb @ WHEELS but it is missing badly as it makes over 11 psi , it is blowing the spark out and need the gaps closing as they are STD grade plugs and STD gaps so I will go back when I get the plugs sorted, but looking good as the graph is climbing nicely until it misfires . And nothing broke

antnicuk

outstanding work, well done
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
