ABS warning lights come on, any idea why.

abs ecu fault ( check for water damage ) - or you have lost a abs sensor on a wheel

I did have my car washed tonight so it might be water , i have a Feed vented bonnet.

Add big brakes and then remove the whole lot. Job done :)

Probably as above, the sensors can be very tempremental too. Just check there is no play in the sensors on the back of the hub

Its a 97 so has good brakes, perhaps not as good as BIG brakes but good enough for me.
