fd engine mounts

Hi All,

Super now do an sump brace that sit\'s been the sump and engine but that will make your engine sit about 10mm higher. They also do solid engine mounts that are 10mm shallower than the stock one. I don\'t have solid engine mounts and have not driven a car with ones installed.
Can anyone who has solids or have driven a car with solids advise of the pro\'s and cons of having solid engine mounts. Also does anyone know if there are other companies that sell smaller engine mounts for an fd but not solids?

Hi Brian, it\'s been a while.
I\'ve considered trying solid mounts for my street FD after I made my own solid motor mounts for my trackcar which runs slicks. It really wasn\'t bad at all, most the noise came from the gearbox and rear end that also has solid mounts. Didn\'t really notice and Cons except I my oil catch can level was higher from the same track.
