Cheers Stacy, I might still just give them a go anyway if they are a good price as I probably won\'t be on 13\'s for longer than those tyres will last I dont reckon.

Phoned those perspex people today-he was a nice chap and will do me a set (sides, quarterlights and hatch) for a good price-no more than they\'re sets which are already mocked up which I thought was good as they\'re not an \'off the shelf\' set.

kiwimazda

I can probably still do a rear hatch in perspex also.
I have some s/h 15" alloys and some slicks and wets I would like to move on

haha now you\'re actively encouraging me to swap over to 2nd gen brakes damn you!! I\'m gonna have to pass on them for the minute mate cos of my hubs, tempted as I am though.....

Still interested in what you said about the fibreglass bonnet if you had any more thoughts on that?

Grizzly

Don\'t first gens have steering box\'s?

All depends on what you have planned for it, if its going to be on the Track more than the road Gut it and make it handle like its on rails, if its Going to be Driven on the road Tune the Motor and make it handle like its on rails :)

Christopher

I have them on my 1983 s2 and they fit fine. My car and wheels are at RX motors at the mo. I think I will have it back in a month. You could have them then if you can wait?

I think £200 is a good price.

Pete.

Hi grizzly, yeah you\'re right they have steering boxes-not brave enough to tackle R+P just yet after seeing Don Pamponi\'s car at RX motors getting done-bit major that!

Still undecided but the concensus seems to be go for the diet plan. I\'ll make sure I\'ve got my camera ready to photograph the wifes face when she see\'s it.

captainbizzaro

Hi Pete, email me your number mate captainbizzaro@aol.com might be easier. I\'ll ring you later then if that\'s ok.

Have a look at the stuff on respeed and mazdatrix too for handling upgrades.

Hi Shaun,

I \'m not sure thats a good idea looking at those sites.....:Tongue1 They do have some good stuff though. Is suspension stuff made for LHD cars interchangable onto RHD though?

Have you still got the 1st gen I saw at rs5?

Tim

shaunwil

Things like springs, dampers, anti-roll bars will be the same as rhd stuff. Mark is running some respeed stuff on his 1st gen.

Still got the 1st gen but I was in the FD at RS5 :Giggle

For good power you could swap to a 13b, not cheap but will give better results as 12a stuff is more rare !

13b is next year when I\'ve got my house a bit more up together but for now money is being spent on keeping the local reclamation yard in business.:Hammer I just keep looking at all the cheap turbo II\'s floating around at the moment tho.......hmmmmmmm donor.........

Cue serious flaming from 2nd gen corner:D

mad gray

Try cp racing.ca they do a headlight kit I will see if i still have any information on the orange car with the carbon fiber bonnet as they did a kit which epaces the metal cover with perspex

captainbizzaro

Cheers mad gray that\'d great if you find anything out.
