Help!!!

Having been to rotorstock at the weekend I now have issues with the FD, and not really sure what to do now.
Friday night I let my dad drive the car up to Northampton, anyway once we got there I let the car idle for a while, and then just opened the bonnet just to help it cool down a bit quicker. My dad then tried to set the intellistart on the alarm (which allows the car to run without the key until the alarm is set) not knowing the car would cut out with the bonnet up. Anyway it misfired and cut out.
Next morning I drove the car to rotorstock, when it started up it ran a bit rough, and when I tried to move off the revs jumped but without any power as if it was missing anyway after letting the car warm up for a while it smoothed out and drove as normal no problems at all.
When I started the car to leave rotorstock everything seemed absolutely fine, car started no problem and I had no issues unlike in the morning.
Anyway on the way back I stopped to get petrol, and after starting the car back up I got the same problem again until it got warmer again and again it smoothed out and I had no issues. But until I stopped to get petrol the car had been faultless not a hint of the problem.
I then went over to my sisters on the sunday and the problem reared its head again as I\'d got so far it was pointless taking the car home so I carried on to my sisters house but this time the problem didn\'t clear.
The problem now is the car is now at my sisters house and I can\'t get it started at all, I need advice as to what to do I\'ve put new plugs in and it still won\'t start it sounds as if it is not quite catching when I turn it over any help would be appreciated.
