Off idle hesitation

Still a newbie and still trying to understand this gorgeous car, 1999 fd.
 
To get to the point... floor it and no problem runs smooth and fast.... driving in traffic, at lower speeds there is an off idle hesitation before it takes up. Sometimes quite noticable, can bog a couple of times before taking up smoothly.
Any advice please? :confused:

Might be spark plugs. When were they last changed? Also better putting up any mods you have.

thanks phil...plugs were supposed to be new when I bought it, I will check them.
 
 No mods, completely stock car.
