I was down at carls new place last friday again, yeah, it still exists! ha ha Hes playing with engine a little bit, and was hoping to be able to get it to RS3. Wouldnt tell me too much tho! Im hoping he does take it, as Ive not heard it running yet, and am feeling a little left out!

It\'s one bloody loud thing.  Was a shame for Carl as most of the poeple there that new nothing about it just kept mumbling all show no go. So I wouldn\'t have thought he\'s going to take it up the strip without some more tuning and running this time!

Is it on EFI now out of interest? any thing else in the offing for RS?

I would love to get her there,but we have pulled the engine down to mod it further and so it may not make it this year.
We will try,but not promising.

Any progress since your last post? Having looked through the thread I guess I saw it in a fairly advanced state when I randomly stumbled accross your workshop and you showed me round earlier this year.

Do you have any pics of the eccentric shaft before it was put into the motor? I\'m intrigued about loads of technical stuff. Any chance of a quick rundown on the tech? How the bearings are set up, how on earth you put it together, how many pieces the eccentric is, stuff like that? I\'m hungry for a bit few more details if they\'re not carefully guarded sectrets

My FD is running now, btw. Thanks for the advice, it was a breeze to put back together after I talked to you guys. Looking forward to rebuilding the other motor now.
