Guys, do any of you index your spark plugs?? I know how to do it on a piston engine, but a rotary would be a little different I\'d of thought due to the way it opperates!!

Basicaly for those who don\'t know the theory, you are suposed to line up the open face of the electrode to the piston crown, & aiming it towards the exhaust port / valve. aparantly it gives a better burn of the fuel & a bit more go (but us mear mortal road users wouldn\'t notice power increase!) although it is ment to give cleaner better burn of the fuel mix.

So basicaly, do any of you racey boys do this?? & wich way do the rotor tips run past the plugs..... Up or Down??

cheers

Doesn\'t the shape of the plug negate it anyway ?? The plug is a crown more than a single electrode.

think you have the wrong plugs in, they are equal all the way round. sounds an interesting theory though.
