really strange problem at 4k rpm

right people here goes,

ive got this strange problem that ive been trying to track down, ive spoken to many vendors and so far ive had no joy with solving it. I popped an engine a while back at 4k whilst on .2 bar boost. Since then ive had knock readings of between 30 to 45 at 4k and cant suss it out. Every where else is perfect.

So far ive changed the following with no success

Apexi ECU
MAP
Plugs
Coils
Igniter
earths
Coil Wiring loom

Still no joy. Has anyone else had this problem or got any ideas? i can boot the car either side of 4k with no issues what so ever. This happens on light throttle, boost, or just sat reving it. All AFRs are ok throughout the rev range.

Car is single turbo T51, rebuilt engine, rebuilt turbo, Apexi, 1600 secondaries 850 primarys 044 fuel pump etc etc

We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.

cheers carl may take you up on this, also i have high oil pressure, not sure if this is an issue? on boost can be anywhere from 8 to 10 kgcm3

Oil pressure will likely be the regulator.

he he good good, is the pressure a problem or will it be ok as it is. its on an after market gauge

I run at 10 bar on certain race engines with no probs.
