Guys, if anyone local has a good understanding of the FD electronics and how things should work - I really really need some help.

I live in Leicestershire, and my problems are detailed on this thread:

Now I\'ve tried everything I can, and I\'m completely lost. There\'s not really anyone local I can take the car too, and I\'d rather not get ripped off. But if someone can come and have a look I\'d very much appreciate it, and of course line their pockets.

I\'m happy with carbs and stuff, but this is all new to me haha.

My number is 07891547010 - Jack.

If there is a problem with a sensor the PFC unit should tell you which one it is as there is a list on there of what is working and what is not although not 100% accurate.

I am in Derby but electronics is not my strong point tbh

Hmm but the PFC doesn\'t operate until the engine is running? And I can\'t get the engine running haha.

It just stays on the APEXi screen with the ign on.

The PFC will give you sensor conditions with the ignition key on. You sure its not a fault with the PFC itself ? You should get the menu without firing the car up.

If you want me to pop round and have a look tomorrow morning i can do and just try a couple of things to see if it gets going, but by no means a full blown expert :Giggle

Mate, any help is welcome. It could be the simplest of things and a fresh pair of eyes would spot it straight away haha.

I\'ll send over my postcode if you fancy a trip over?

Free in the morning so can pop over, also try one last thing - when you switch the car ignition on can you hear the fuel pump ???? if not the fuel relay may need replacing.

You should be able to hear the pump come online when you turn the ignition, if you cant hear it theres no fuel coming through hence no fire up ????

tex me your postcode dude: 07801498461

as said in your other thread had exactly the same problem and ended up being the apexi that had died. if you can get your hands on another one to try it would be handy
